Jeremy Ackermann, D.O.
Dr. Jeremy Ackermann was born and raised in Bellevue, IA. He graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Research and a minor in Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University in 2003. He completed his internship and residency in 2006 at Duke-SRAHEC in Fayetteville, NC, where he served as Chief Resident. He then joined Berkeley Family Practice in 2006. He is a team physician for the South Carolina Stingrays professional hockey team. His professional interests include colon cancer screening and colonoscopy, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and musculoskeletal disorders. He is married to Heather, and they have two children, Elijah and Ava. His hobbies include basketball, running, golf, reading, and spending time with his family.
